MenuMaster version 1.3 by Robert Masters for MAXsBBS 1.52
MenuMaster lets you set up a door that will put up your menu backdrop,
then put all your menu options on screen, and users can then select the
menu option they want by moving around the screen with the cursor keys.
With menu master, you can have upto 40 items on screen, have a hotkey
for each item and set access levels for each item. By running this as a
door from MAXs or a script, then user will be able to scroll around the
options and hit return on the one they want, or hit a hotkey and be
transported to that menu or to another MenuMaster screen. Each item has
two forms, a normal and a selected type, both of which can be configured
to anything want (ie:differant text, ansi codes ect..). Users can also
hit escape to exit the door.
You MUST give MenuMaster the filename as an argument, as MAXs will put
the current node number as the last argument.
WARNING: You cannot run a door through MenuMaster !!! I will add code
later to allow a door to run, but MenuMaster will not be able to
continue.
To set the configuration, use the program MenuConfig..
Because MAXsBBS doesn't send the entire ANSI sequence through to the
port, and only send the first character (an escape) I cannot set this up
for offline users to use the cursor keys. I will be asking about having
this fixed in a later release (if there is one).
Thge keys for local are the cursor keys, and for offline users it is the
number pad (8,4,6,2).. The only bug with this is that A600 users cannot
use the menus as easily... Oh well..
Notes:
1.0 - First release.
1.1 - Any menu function can now be used.
1.2 - Menu functions and new config can be set for each item.
1.3 - 'Should' now work with local and offline cursor keys.
Thanks to Norbert Feist for Beta testing this program.
